We had an excellent 7-day cruise. The excursions, whether in small boats or on trails, were really interesting. Our guide Josue was very competent, and so was the crew. The food was very good too. A beautiful adventure.
We did a seven days expedition cruise on the Rio Negro. It was great. The booked boat was in repair and they use an equivalent boat. With 8 guests only, this allowed personalized experience. The crew provided excellent service. The food was amazing and diversified. Our guide was excellent and provided a lot of information about the life of indigenous people, on what the company is doing to help them and how the government is protecting the land. Activities were interesting : swimming with dolphins (they are free and were attracted with fishes), jungle walking, birds and animal watching, communities visits, explanation on survival in the jungle, swimming under a waterfall, piranhas fishing, swimming in the Rio Negro and relaxing on sand banks … It is not a luxury boat but confortable beds and air conditioning in each room. We loved this adventure and made new friends

It was a lovely trip with varied activities. We really enjoyed it! The highlight of Bonito was the Securi river, a unique experience to float in this bright blue water. In the Pantanal we enjoyed the different safaris. Unfortunately we didn't manage to spot a jaguar, but all the capybaras, caimans and beautiful birds made it absolutely worthwhile. With two "grown-up" children, the 4-person room with a bunk bed in the jungle lodge was actually just a bit too cozy.
The tour was well planned and organised. The staff was excellent: responding fast, solving issues immediattely and very kind. Would definitely recommend.

So who are comfort adventures for? Travelers who want the wildlife and the scenery without the hardship: couples, families, older travelers, and anyone who would rather not camp. Most trips ask only for reasonable fitness, the ability to walk a few hours on uneven ground, and the ability to handle heat and humidity. There’s no need for athletic training.
The pace is yours to set, from gentle days of short walks and boat rides to fuller days with longer hikes—everything adjustable by a guide as you go. Want the soft end? Comfortable does not mean five-star: this is well-appointed, good-value travel, real lodges, and good food, not butlers and champagne. If outright luxury is what you want, that is a separate tier (and we run those too).
