Luxury Amazon Lodge Brazil

Amazon
4 Nights·5 Days

Overview

Discover the most impressive rainforest on Earth with comfort at Mirante do Gavião, a luxury Amazon lodge in Brazil that faces the Rio Negro and the islands of Anavilhanas. Over 5 days and 4 nights, you immerse yourself in nature with high-end rooms, refined food, and friendly local staff.

From the lodge, you explore one of the world’s largest river archipelagos by boat and canoe, walk forest trails alive with Amazon flora and fauna, and swim in the warm, dark water of the Rio Negro. You also connect with riverside communities, see the handicrafts of Novo Airão, and head out for sunset cruises and nocturnal wildlife spotting.

Mirante do Gavião sits about 180 km from Manaus, close enough to reach by road in roughly 2.5 to 3 hours, yet remote enough to feel wrapped in forest and river. It is built entirely of certified hardwood using Amazonian boat-building techniques, so the comfort of a top Amazon eco-lodge never gets in the way of the wild setting beyond your balcony.

  • Full itinerary: canoeing in Anavilhanas, speedboat cruises on the Rio Negro, forest trails to the Madadá caves, sunset outings, a night safari, a ‘Be a Local’ visit in Novo Airão, and riverside community walks.
  • Wide views of Anavilhanas National Park and the Rio Negro, with sunsets watched from your balcony, the pool deck, or the water.
  • Swim in the warm blackwater of the Rio Negro and look for pink river dolphins around Novo Airão, one of the best areas in the Amazon to see them.
  • Stay at Mirante do Gavião, an award-winning luxury Amazon lodge in Brazil built of certified hardwood, with a pool, a wellness space, and elegant rooms.
  • Every excursion is led by experienced local guides who know the forest, the river, and its wildlife.
  • All-inclusive experience: round-trip transfers, 4 nights’ lodging, full-board meals, and all guided tours.
  • Please note: the itinerary is a suggested plan confirmed on arrival and may be adjusted for weather, river levels, or group needs. Activities on check-in and check-out days depend on your arrival and departure times.
