We started our second day of adventure by leaving Lençóis in the direction of Vale do Capão. It’s an hour’s drive along the BR 242 highway, which takes us to one of the entrances to the Chapada Diamantina National Park. When we reach the dirt road, our hike begins to climb, which challenges us for almost an hour, but the effort is well rewarded when we reach the flat trail that leads to the incredible Cachoeira da Fumaça, known as the highest waterfall in Brazil, with its free fall of 380 meters. Throughout the hike, we are treated to spectacular views of the Capão Valley and Morrão.

At the top, the energy of nature is palpable, making it the perfect place for a snack break. The return follows the same trail back to the car, with a brief stop at the Riachinho Waterfall for a refreshing dip, before we head back to Lençóis and conclude the second day of our 7-day trip through the Chapada Diamantina.

Admire the iconic views of Morro do Pai Inácio and Morrão before arriving at a natural pool for a revitalizing dip. After a tasty snack and time to relax, we return to Lençóis.

When the sun goes down, serenity envelops Lençóis. The evening is free to explore the town further or rest up for the next day. If you choose to go out, the illuminated streets and live music emanating from the local bars and restaurants create a charming setting, making for a relaxing and enjoyable evening experience.

It’s day is one of the most awaited. Our Chapada Diamantina trip for 7 days continues as we leave Lençóis at 8:00 am towards Gruta Lapa Doce, famous for its limestone formation and the backdrop for various filmings. The 850-meter traverse inside the cave is a unique experience, revealing underground beauty with each step. Following the visit, we head to Fazenda Pratinha, home to crystal clear waters and the Blue Cave. Optional activities like cave snorkeling, zip-lining, and kayaking are available. Around 3:40 pm, we depart for Morro do Pai Inácio, a postcard-perfect site of Chapada Diamantina. The view from the top is breathtaking, and if weather permits, an unforgettable sunset will be the perfect closure to our Chapada Diamantina trip. As the evening approaches, we return to Lençóis.

Arriving at the waterfall is quick and easy, perfect for a refreshing dip. After a regional lunch at the Serra da Cravada restaurant, we set off for the Mucugezinho River, known for its cola-coloured waters. After a 20-minute walk, we arrive at Poço do Diabo, where another waterfall bath awaits. After enjoying the place, we head back to Lençóis.

Upon returning to Lençóis, the feeling of accomplishment and the connection with nature remain. The last day of your visit ends with a silent invitation to return and discover more of what the Chapada Diamantina has to offer, marking a serene end to your 7-day trip through the Chapada Diamantina.
