“They organize all the details, all the bookings, accommodation and food on the trek and transportation to and from Torres del Paine. They have a great app which you can use before and during the trip that has all your documents, the trip description day by day, the route on the map, and any details you need (like reservation numbers). They are super well organized and I really appreciated all the assistance in making my W trek in Torres del Paine as good as can be. Their communication before the trip was excellent and all logistical details taken care of. I really appreciated their care and thoughtfulness.”

“Everything from the pre-trip communications, guide briefing and hike itself was top notch. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family!”

“The W is 5 stars. It’s amazingly beautiful and we were fortunate to have good weather. The Refugio’s food and accommodations are reasonable given their remoteness and the daily turnover. We hiked west to east to avoid walking into a prevailing headwind. We stayed at Hotel Lago Grey and took their ferry to Refugio Grey. The hotel restaurant is good but the hotel wasn’t worth the additional cost ($450/room). Be aware that their ferry won’t run if the winds are high. We stayed inside at Grey, Paine Grande, and Cuernos. The Refugio’s all have bunk beds and the rooms are for 2-6 people. The 2-4 person cabins at Cuernos were wonderful. Only permanent tents were available this year at Chileno but worth staying there because the location sets you up for the hike to the towers. We left about 7:00 and hardly anyone else there because the dawn hikers were gone and the hikers from Central weren’t there yet. The amount of food provided exceeded our needs and of sufficient quality and sometimes the entrees were good. Chileno, which is supplied by horseback, put the most effort into presentation. We enjoyed the food at Cuernos and Chileno (served) more than Paine Grande and Grey (buffet). We did not like the lunch sandwiches because of the amount of bread to filling ratio and cream cheese (?) condiment. Vegetarian sandwiches (hummus or veggie patty) were slightly better. Next time, we would try to opt out of the lunches and bring snacks and scavenge from breakfast. We didn’t need to carry more than 1 L of water and did not treat any of the water. We had no gastrointestinal issues in our group from the food or water. Shower water ran out Paine Grande at 6:00. We had no issues with showers at the other Refugios. The agency was willing to customize our tour. However, the execution did not go smoothly. Our emailed itinerary and the app provided showed that all of our meals would be provided as we intended. Our first day, they forgot to give us a box lunch but they refunded this cost. We also learned that we hadn’t payed for dinner at Hotel Lago Grey, so we had to buy dinner. Breakfast was included with our hotel room but a boxed lunch was not. There was a problem with our reservation at Paine Grande but my Spanish was inadequate to understand what the problem was. We were provided meals and rooms but we were not placed together in the rooms and 1 couple was put in different rooms. At Chileno, they told us that we had made our meal reservations at Central (2 hr hike away) even though we were staying at Chileno. Fortunately, Chileno was able and willing to provide us meals. Chileno has limited stocks because this Refugio is supplied by horseback whereas the other Refugio’s can be restocked by boat.”

“We booked the W trail from the UK. They were quick to respond to emails and helpful. We had a meeting with them in their office the day before we set off when they answered our questions, briefed us on transport etc and gave us tickets. I would highly recommend using this company if you choosing an agent to book your trek.”

— Fiona W

“The W-Trek was phenomenal. Views were spectacular and could not recommend the tour enough. They were great at booking the refugios and camp-sites along with the bus tickets, catamarans and boxed lunches. I totally recommend them to anyone looking to book a tour in TDP. The camp-sites are really nice so don't worry if you don't get the refugio. It can even give you privacy you will not have in the refugio. For fit people, this tour could probably be done in 4 days. The last day was really light, especially if you don't do the activity at Grey. Either E-W or W-E would be good. Meeting people on the trek is also super common as you see the same people at the refugios and make some great connections. An unforgettable experience!”

“Hiking the W Trek was such a brilliant bucket list trip for us. It was easy to coordinate and discuss to get exactly the trip we wanted.”

“ChileNativo was absolutely wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to help us out sometimes - even so far as to help us manage a last minute equipment rental when we forgot something and wouldn't be swinging through Puerto Natales. We booked an unguided W trek with a porter, a transfer, and the puma tracking. Where to begin? Our porter (Roberto!) spoke perfect english, and checked in with us in the morning and the evening at each stop to make sure we had our things, as well as double checking about anything that might be fragile. One day, we were very late getting back - because the sky had cleared so we hung out for awhile to take photos - and when we checked in they knew us by name because he had been looking for us. I wouldn't be surprised if he'd have jogged down the path if we were too much later. Even our drivers seemed extra nice. Clean good driving, and every once and awhile they stopped and pointed out wildlife (We saw a Rhea!) Our Puma tracker expert (Nico!) was also delightful all day. He saw a cat that was entirely invisible to me, pretty impressive. He also tracked down a photo that one of the other guides took because our cameras were middling. When we got close to our trip, ChileNativo gave us a whatsapp and got back to my questions near instantly, as late as 9:30 at night. I felt super supported the entire time and would gladly book a tour with them again.”

“I am so pleased with this company and how accommodating they were throughout our entire planning process. They were attentive and quick to respond to all my questions. Very organized, friendly, and prompt service! Everything was arranged perfectly and we did not have to worry about anything.”

— Kristin Bodin

“Trip of a lifetime! We wanted to do the Winter W Trek as the culmination of our Chilean belated honeymoon and it was without doubt the highlight of our three weeks in the country. We were so glad we booked with them as the whole thing was amazing. We loved spending time with them both and feel like we made great friends in just a few days. We want to go back! Robin & Roz - UK (trip done in August 2023)”

— Robin Brown

“We had a great experience doing the five-day W trek and our group's guide, Devi. My wife and I stayed in tents at the refugios along the trekking route, which worked well for us. All aspects of our trek went very well for our small hiking group of four plus our guide.”
