Our main objective was to photograph jaguars along the rivers as well as other wildlife. Hence we spent extra days there. The rooms are decent with private both, air conditioning (you need it) and a fridge. The beds are comfortable. In our room, they have 110v and 220v Brazilian Type N outlets as well as AC outlets that you can directly use North American (Type A) and European round plugs, which makes it very convenient for us, although we brought plug converters with us. (Not sure every room is configured that way, as I didn't check other rooms.) Lodging includes three meals a day, buffet style. Breakfast starts a 5am as a lot of boats go out around 6am/sunrise onto the river to search for jaguars/wildlife, before it gets hot. For lunch and dinner, they usually have a few choices for meat: fish, beef, and chicken, and they have rice and pasta. There is also plenty of salad and vegetables. The food is quite decent and they have a lot of selections for drinks, wine, beer .... Most in our group also appreciate their dessert. Inside the property there is a house. Once they brought out some fruits and bird seeds that attracted a lot of birds, great for us photographers and bird watchers. The lodge has very good laundry service: give it to them early in the morning, and they'll have it ready by mid afternoon or so. The cost is quite reasonable. …read more read lessDate of Experience: August 10, 2024

Over a period of three days, we had perhaps seven encounters with up to four different animals. It was surprising how important this connection with nature was for us. We also loved the hyacinth macaws that hang out in the lodge grounds and the capybaras that came out to eat on the grass every night. Our lodge was spacious, with a very comfortable king-size bed (plus a single bed), a very cosy space. The restaurant served very good food and really attentive service. …read more read lessDate of Experience: September 03, 2023

We saw an anaconda on our first night there too. Wow! Fantastic! There are also many birds, including the spectacular hyacinth macaws.
