Pantanal Jaguar Budget Safari

Brazil
3 Nights·4 Days

Overview

The Pantanal Jaguar Budget Safari links the two best wildlife corridors of the Northern Pantanal, PoconĂ© and Porto Jofre, in the state of Mato Grosso, into a 4-day trip that keeps costs down without cutting the experience itself. The route is built around the world’s best place to see jaguars in the wild, with a full-day boat safari along the CuiabĂĄ, Piquiri and TrĂȘs IrmĂŁos rivers.

The days mix a range of activities: a jaguar boat safari in Porto Jofre, a jeep safari and a night safari around the lodge area in PoconĂ©, a late-afternoon hike, and plenty of chances to see capybaras, caimans, giant otters, anteaters, and a wide array of birds. It’s the perfect tour for adventurers who want to experience the Pantanal’s wildlife on a limited budget.

  • Full itinerary: jaguar boat safari, jeep safari, night safari, and hiking.
  • Best chances in the world to see jaguars in their natural habitat, at Porto Jofre.
  • Frequent sightings of capybaras, caimans, giant otters, anteaters, and exotic birds.
  • Considerably more affordable than premium jaguar-watching tours, without compromising the safari.
  • Activities guided by English-speaking local experts.
  • All-inclusive experience: round-trip transfer from CuiabĂĄ, accommodation, full board, and local guides.
  • Please note: The itinerary is a suggested plan, confirmed on arrival at the lodge. It may be adjusted for weather, logistics, or the group’s needs. Activities and lunch on check-in and check-out days depend on your arrival and departure times.
