5-Day Fernando de Noronha Scuba Diving Trip in Brazil

Brazil
4 Nights·5 Days

Overview

Experience the ultimate underwater adventure with a 5-day Fernando de Noronha scuba diving package! Located in a UNESCO World Heritage marine park, the island offers exceptional diving conditions in the South Atlantic. Explore crystal-clear waters with visibility reaching up to 40 meters and a comfortable, year-round water temperature of 27°C.

The itinerary perfectly balances ocean exploration with land adventures. Over two mornings, enjoy two double-dive sessions (totaling four dives) guided by bilingual instructors for both certified divers and beginners. Between dive days, a comprehensive 10.5-hour 4×4 island tour will take you to explore iconic sights, including the Shark Pool, Baía dos Porcos, and Praia do Leão.

The sheer beauty of Noronha and its rich marine biodiversity are truly unforgettable. Underwater, you can encounter sea turtles, reef sharks, rays, and occasionally dolphins across 22 dive sites. Above water, you will marvel at pristine landscapes like Praia do Sancho, retreating each evening to a comfortable pousada to relax after taking in the breathtaking island sunsets.

  • Full itinerary: two double-dive sessions (four dives), a full-day 4x4 island tour, and free afternoons for beaches and Fernando de Noronha snorkeling.
  • Four dives across two mornings, each lasting 30 to 50 minutes, with visibility up to 25 meters.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival / Airport Transfer / Vila dos Remédios

  • ArrivalTransfer from Fernando de Noronha Airport (FEN) to your pousada
  • Vila dos RemédiosColonial village · Restaurants · Island orientation

After landing at Fernando de Noronha, a driver takes you straight to your pousada. The rest of the day is yours—most travelers walk into Vila dos Remédios, the island’s colonial village, to get their bearings and pick a restaurant for the evening. Rest well: the first dive session starts early.

A narrow golden-sand cove flanked by dark volcanic rocks opens onto turquoise Atlantic waters with two towering moss-covered rock spires rising in the background on a Fernando de Noronha diving trip

Day 2

First Double Dive / Free Afternoon

  • Double diveTwo dives at two different sites · 30 to 50 min each
  • Marine lifeReefs, sea turtles, rays · water ~27°C · Visibility up to 25 m

Our local partner will meet you at your guesthouse at 7:15 AM to take you to the dive boat. Certified divers run two dives at two separate sites (depth depends on your certification level, your experience, and the sea conditions that morning).

You are back at the accommodation by about 11:30 AM. The afternoon is free to explore the island.

Day 3

Second Double Dive / New Dive Sites

  • Double diveMorning session · Two new sites
  • Underwater terrainCanyons, caves and volcanic rock formations

Same early start, different water. The crew picks the day’s sites based on visibility, sea state, and where you dived yesterday, so the second session rarely repeats the first. Caverna da Sapata has underwater caves, while Ilha do Meio is known for turtles, rays, and moray eels.

Between the two mornings, you will have logged four dives. That is enough water time to settle your buoyancy and actually look around, which is the point of diving in Fernando de Noronha over five days rather than two.

Meals included: Breakfast at the pousada.
