4 days surf school in Itacaré, Bahia

Brazil
3 Nights·4 Days

Overview

Located on the Cocoa Coast in southern Bahia, the small town of Itacaré offers surf, paradise beaches, waterfalls and all the joy of Bahia. Known as "The Hawaii of Brazil", it has drawn surfers since the 1980s, with a tropical climate and an average temperature of 27°C — the perfect place for a surf school in Itacaré.

This 4-day course at our Itacaré surf school welcomes everyone who wants to learn, with experienced instructors who adapt to your level. Lessons run on a daily pick of stunning surf beaches, each around 4 hours on the sand (not counting preparation and transport), in small, same-level groups with a guaranteed maximum of 1 instructor per 3 students for maximum progress. You'll also receive a complete Surf Manual by email, covering waves, tides, swell, currents, peaks, rules and surf lingo.

To accelerate learning, lessons from Monday to Friday are filmed by our cameraman, then watched and analysed in a seminar (about 1–1.5 hours) right after the practical session, where an instructor comments on your waves, pinpoints corrections and sets goals for the next day. We ask for a minimum of 4 surf days (Sundays off, and arrival/departure days excluded), as that's the least needed to truly progress at this surf school in Itacaré.
