Un safari de lujo en el Pantanal en el Caiman Ecological Refuge te lleva a la única propiedad del Pantanal Sur donde se rastrean jaguares y se avistan de forma fiable en libertad. El trabajo de conservación del lodge con la fauna nativa ha habituado a los jaguares residentes a la presencia de vehículos a una distancia respetuosa, y por eso los safaris regulares en 4×4 alcanzan aquí una tasa de avistamiento del 98%.

El viaje va mucho más allá de los jaguares. Durante tus vacaciones de lujo en el Pantanal alternarás safaris por la mañana y por la tarde, senderos guiados a pie, paseos en canoa al atardecer y avistamiento nocturno en el camino de vuelta al lodge. Salida desde Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul: el socio local de PlanetaEXO pasa por ti al aeropuerto o a tu hotel a las 10 de la mañana. El trayecto al lodge, en el municipio de Miranda, toma alrededor de 3h30 (236 km).

Después del check-in en Caiman, tómate un tiempo para relajarte antes de tu primera actividad. Por la tarde sales a tu primer safari para explorar el Pantanal en uno de los mejores momentos del día para observar fauna.

Según las condiciones del clima, esta salida puede incluir una experiencia en canoa al atardecer. En el regreso, ya de noche, los guías usan reflectores para observar animales nocturnos como caimanes, búhos y ocelotes.

Día 2

safari matutino y caminata / safari de jaguares por la tarde

  • Safari matutino + sendero a pie~3 h (arranque entre 5:30 y 6:00 de la mañana)

  • Canoa opcional al atardecersegún las condiciones

Empieza el día temprano, alrededor de las 5:30 o 6:00 de la mañana, cuando la actividad de la fauna está en su punto más alto. Durante el safari suele haber una parada para un sendero guiado a pie, que permite ver de cerca el ecosistema del Pantanal.

Después de volver al lodge para el almuerzo y para descansar un rato, sales otra vez por la tarde a un nuevo safari en busca de jaguares y de otros animales. Esta segunda salida ofrece otras perspectivas del paisaje y de la fauna, a menudo con buenas vistas del atardecer.

Según el clima del momento, la canoa puede formar parte de la actividad de la tarde. Cuando cae la noche, la observación de fauna nocturna ocurre de forma natural durante el regreso al lodge.

Día 3

safari de fauna / canoa al atardecer

Empieza el día con otro safari temprano por la mañana y sigue la búsqueda de jaguares y de otros animales por distintas zonas de Caiman. Cada salida se adapta según los avistamientos recientes y las condiciones del ambiente, para aprovechar al máximo las probabilidades de encuentros que valgan la pena.

Vuelves al lodge para el almuerzo y el descanso antes de salir otra vez por la tarde. Este safari vuelve a combinar la observación de fauna con la luz cambiante del Pantanal y puede incluir canoa al atardecer si las condiciones lo permiten.

En el regreso, ya de noche, los guías hacen la búsqueda nocturna como parte de la experiencia.
