Lençóis Marahenses is a magical place! It’s as if you walk on the moon ( as I imagine). To walk on the dunes and swim in the clear water of the dune lakes is very special. The houses where you sleep are simple ( you sleep in hammocks) . The people of these houses are very welcoming and kind, they make a fire in the night and you are really in the middle of nature. That’s a great experience! I would really recommend this trip. This dune landscape I never experienced before..

The adventure was incredible as the place is truly one of a kind.. We very much enjoyed walking for several days in the Lençóis and had a great time. But the organization lacked clarity fir us : first of all on the fact we woule be literally walking in water for days (I definitely would have taken other clothes if I had known this). Second on the organization if days, the time we would wake up (2h30 instead of 4h on last day, which we discovered at 9pm the day before). Finally we were disappointed by the quality of meals during our stops (no vegetables, no fruits in most places and in the end we literally ate the same thing every day: rice, feijão, grilled fish or chicken). I was also very surprised that we had to buy our water for each day, as I would have imagined a meal would include something to drink, especially in the desert. All these remarks this diminished a bit the satisfaction we felt during the trip

I went at the beginning of the rainy season a nice experience with meditative hikes through white sand dunes, and cooling off in rivers and lagoons. Simple but nice accommodation/food 🙂

The Christmas days alone with the guide as an attentive, funny guide was also a pleasure 😉

I made the crossing with an excellent guide. Native, had knowledge of the whole region, intelligent, speaks very well, good vibe, good energy. The tour was amazing and I will definitely recommend it to other friends.

One of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I definitely recommend it. This path has been long and difficult, but it has been worth it. We had an excellent tour guide with substantial knowledge of the area and a true passion for desert trekking. I recommend bringing plenty of water and sunscreen, hiking poles, and long sleeves.

It was one of the most beautiful experiences of our life; itinerary in a sublime and unique place in the world, accompanied by our guide who is always smiling, attentive and considerate!

On the program: walking in the magnificent dunes, swam in the most beautiful lagoons of the desert, and nights in a hammock in the oases where we had the chance to chat with the locals.

I did this 100% Ecological Trek and I loved it! It was perfect! I really loved it! Our guide, is super attentive, very nice and has a lot of knowledge to exchange. Everything was super smooth! I highly recommend it!

Undoubtedly, it was one of the most impactful experiences I’ve had in my life. Walking these days through the dunes and discovering the most beautiful lakes in the country was quite an adventure!!! At first, I was afraid that I couldn’t handle it, but we had an excellent guide who made the experience very smooth. The overnight stays in the oasis in hammocks were a separate chapter, the opportunity to talk to the people there is an immersion in real Brazil. Allied to all this, the fact that we went theoretically “out of season” (I emphasize that the lagoons were absolutely full), allowed us to know Lençóis exclusively since outside the oasis, in these days we did not come across anyone on the trail.

I’m still coming back to do a longer crossing. It’s being unforgettable because a place like this doesn’t leave your mind, you keep reliving it constantly…

We went through the Lençois desert, passing from dune to dune and from lagoon to lagoon, each more beautiful than the other. This vast expanse of sand, still pure and unspoiled, provides a feeling of freedom and fantastic well-being never felt anywhere. It is still important to have a minimum of physical condition and to be very well equipped against the sun which is very strong! We have always been very well-received and pampered! Millions of little surprises that I let you discover throughout the trek! Last but not least, our guide was awesome and great! A real enthusiast and lover of his region (he was born there) he knows his area like no one else and will make you discover the natural park in an incredible way, so much in love that despite the difficulties you will fall in love too! Very attentive and very considerate, it was just PERFECT!

One of the best treks in life!!! Wonderful place!!! Amazing landscapes!!! An experience that there are no words to describe the feeling of walking in the desert alongside incredible landscapes, at every step a wonderful landscape, at every stop in the houses of the natives the beauty of simplicity.
