Resumen

En pleno corazón del Parque Nacional de la Chapada Diamantina, en el estado de Bahía, el trekking de 4 días por el Vale do Pati tiene una fama enorme: para muchos caminantes es la mejor caminata de Brasil. Sales del pueblo de Guiné, subes hasta la aldea de Aleixo y su mirador abierto sobre la sierra, y duermes en las casas de las familias que viven dentro del valle.

Cada jornada suma kilómetros y un plan distinto: la cascada de Funis, la cueva y la cima del Morro do Castelo y, el tercer día, la elección entre la cascada de Calixto y el Poço da Árvore, más tranquilo. En medio quedan cañones, planicies y pozos de agua transparente que explican por qué la caminata por el Vale do Pati, en la Chapada Diamantina, no se parece a ninguna otra.

Es un viaje para quien no se cansa de la aventura: contacto directo con la naturaleza y una experiencia a medida, ajustada al ritmo y a las ganas de tu grupo.

Itinerario

Día 1

mirador del Vale do Pati / cascada de Funis

La Chapada Diamantina empieza temprano. A las 6:30 un traslado te lleva hasta el pueblo de Guiné, donde arranca el sendero: allí tu guía explica el recorrido y revisa el equipo. La primera hora es de subida por los Aleixos, con la sierra abriéndose a tu espalda; después el camino cruza planicies, arroyos y la zona conocida como Gerais do Rio Preto hasta el mirador del Vale do Pati.

Tras el pícnic junto a la cascada de Lajeado llega el primer baño del viaje: Funis (30 m), con su piscina natural al pie. La noche es en la casa de Igrejinha, con cena y fogata.

Día 2

cueva del Morro do Castelo / Cachoeira das Bananeiras

Después del desayuno llega la subida más empinada del viaje: dos horas hasta el Morro do Castelo, primero por bosque Cerrado y luego dentro de una cueva enorme. Con linternas recorres la galería hasta un balcón natural con vista sobre todo el valle; el pícnic es arriba, en la cima.

La bajada alterna piedra y sendero de bosque hasta la Cachoeira das Bananeiras, hecha para bañarse. La segunda noche duermes en casa del señor Wilson, que recibe viajeros desde 1997 y es una de las piezas clave de la experiencia.

Día 3

cascada de Calixto / Poço da Árvore

Después de un desayuno abundante toca elegir camino. Si quieres exigencia, Calixto: sube y baja entre árboles grandes y suelo de piedra hasta una cascada de 40 metros. Si prefieres una jornada más suave, el Poço da Árvore (el pozo del árbol) tiene piscina natural y saltos de agua rodeados de verde y de cañones.

Los dos caminos terminan igual: de vuelta en la casa donde duermes, con el atardecer dorando los paredones en tu última noche dentro del valle.

Día 4

mirador del Cachoeirão / regreso a Guiné

El último día vuelves a elegir: la exigente Fenda da Prefeitura, con una vista distinta del Morro do Castelo, o una subida más suave. Las dos llevan al mirador del Cachoeirão y a sus 260 metros de caída; después de las lluvias se ven más de 20 cascadas bajando por el paredón.

Tras el último pícnic y un baño en el pozo del Cachoeirão, cruzas las planicies de los Gerais do Rio Preto y bajas por el sendero de Aleixo. En Guiné, hacia las 16:00, te espera el traslado a Lençóis.
