Itinerario

Día 1

llegada / encuentro de las aguas / salida nocturna

  • Torre de observación31 m sobre las copas de los árboles

El personal del Juma te recoge en el Aeropuerto Internacional Eduardo Gomes (MAO) o en tu hotel, entre las 6:30 y las 7:30. Camino al lodge presencias el encuentro de las aguas, donde el Rio Negro y el Rio Solimões se juntan sin mezclarse. Después de instalarte en tu bungalow, subes a una de las torres de observación del Juma, 31 metros por encima de las copas de los árboles, para ver la selva de punta a punta. Después de la cena, una salida en barco busca ranas, caimanes y otros animales nocturnos.

Día 2

caminata en la selva / canoa / plantación de árboles

El día empieza con una caminata por la selva donde los locales enseñan técnicas de supervivencia, cómo identificar plantas medicinales y otros trucos útiles del bosque. Por la tarde recorres en canoa los igapós (selva inundada) y los igarapés para ver la selva desde otra perspectiva, atento a las aves, los pequeños mamíferos, los insectos y una cantidad enorme de plantas. Como parte del compromiso de sostenibilidad del Juma, también participas en el programa de reforestación plantando árboles.

Día 3

amanecer / árboles sumaúma / pesca de pirañas

Te levantas antes del amanecer para ver salir el sol sobre el río Juma mientras la selva despierta. Después del desayuno, el grupo visita los árboles sumaúma, que pueden crecer hasta 45 metros y vivir siglos, y los guías explican su importancia para la selva y para la cultura amazónica. Más tarde, la pesca recreativa en el río se concentra en la piraña, con los guías mostrando las mejores técnicas y las prácticas de seguridad.

Día 4

El cuarto día arranca con una caminata a través de la selva, seguida de un almuerzo a la parrilla en medio del paisaje natural. Por la tarde visitas a una familia cabocla para conocer su cultura, sus tradiciones y su vida diaria rodeada de naturaleza, y entender el papel que juegan los locales en el Amazonas. La noche queda libre para disfrutar las instalaciones del lodge.
