I had a great expérience in Pantanal with PlanetaEXO. They found the best excursion for me, and always answered thé questions I had. I also recommend Pantanal Jungle Lodge, their partner. Paulo is the best guide to show you animals, and answer your questions.

4 day, 3 nights Jungle Lodge
I planned a three night, 4 day trip to Jungle Lodge in the Pantanal. It all went well and I enjoyed my tour. My only criticism of the agency is regarding communications. Sometimes I had to wait very very many days to receive a response when booking. Jungle lodge itself helped me communicate with Planetexo to get details on my specific transfer to Bonito via Miranda. The lodge food and accommodations are good. There was some disorganization with activities. Overall an average experience.

I had a wonderful time in South Pantanal
Everything was well organized, from my arrival to departure.
Beatriz did a lovely job and made sure I had the best experience.

Great experience with planeta EXO in Pantanal.
The communication was easy and fast, and I liked that we could book easily online everything and in English. We did 4 days 3 nights tour in Pantanal and Beatriz helped us to pick and arrange the tours we wanted and according to our budget. Kudos to Beatriz!

Adorei, mas o planejamento das refeições precisa de atenção
Amei e voltarei, destaco o profissionalismo do guia Paulo H. e o atendimento dos meninos do bar Lucas e Robson que fazem de tudo ali.
Só não dou 5 estrelas e aponto abaixo o motivo como ponto de melhoria:
– Falta planejamento da alimentação x número de hóspedes, no dia 08/07/24 por exemplo o hotel estava lotado e acabou o pão francês no café da manhã logo no início (antes das 07:00), outros dias faltou mussarela e bolo, etc.
No almoço e janta as sobremesas tb são insuficientes.
Eu me senti envergonhado como se fosse em minha casa, ao ver os estrangeiros perguntando aos funcionários sobre a reposição e eles respondendo “”acabou”” tb constrangidos pq eles não tem culpa.
O café e as refeições são simples porém deve-se entregar o que é proposto.

Simple Stay, Great Guides and River Location
This is a backpacker hotel with simple rooms no luxary. Reasonable breakfast lunch dinner included in room price. Excellent choice of trips with knowledgeable guides. Barman makes great cocktails all staff very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for 4* this is not for you but location on the river the best. Shame about motor boats zooming up and down river scarring the wild life

Comfort and Quality, But Not Enough Adventure
Luxury in the southern pantanal. Nice food. We would have like a more filled program instead of just two activities per day. Safaris should go earlier in the morning to increase the chances for spotting animals.

Looks great, but the service leaves something to be desired
Beautiful place, tasteful decor! If it hadn’t been so cold, we would have enjoyed the boat trip more. One reservation regarding the service. We didn’t see the manager, and the employee who checked us out went out of her way to serve us as best she could. She was alone and even carried the heavy trolley with our luggage. I found it embarrassing for a guest who was having breakfast when a hotel employee warned him about the time. (The cut-off time is 8:30 a.m., which I think is too early for those enjoying a day out.) There is no afternoon snack available. The rooms are not soundproof, which makes us feel uncomfortable. I won’t be back and I don’t recommend it.

Nice Setting, But Too Focused on Routine Activities
“Overall the experience was decent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was good and plentiful. Guides were friendly, helpful and fluent in English. The view of the river from the camp was pleasant. Many activities were fulfilled. However, the lodge can gain a lot from Safari experiences in Southern Africa — which often cost similar or a lot less. A lot of emphasis was placed on doing specific activities as opposed to finding wildlife or having guides educate us about the Pantanal or wildlife. Activities erred on the short side, a short distance away from camp usually on the same parts of the ‘main road’ or river. More emphasis on getting deeper into the Pantanal in order to find wildlife could be placed.
Both Lonely Planet and Trip Advisor have this place highly rated, and I understand its potential. However, I think its execution as a safari-type package can certainly be improved.”
