An excellent 6-day trip, with a very well planned itinerary and different experiences, little explored (out of the “ordinary”) and top quality guiding, with a lot of attention. Even in the most visited places, the planning of the itinerary differs from the rhythm and schedules usually followed by other tourists, which allows you to enjoy the places visited with exclusivity. Our guides provided excellent service. The Jalapão and Serra Geral are wonderful! Highlights include:
Trilha da Velha + rafting on the Rio Novo (also great work by the boat leader, from Nova Aventura);
Sunrise on the summit of Serra do Espírito Santo;
Sunset at the top of Morro da Catedral;
Fervedouro do Encontro das Águas; and
Arches of the Sun.

This was a great and exciting trip! Im travelling 4 months through Brazil and this Jalapao tour was the biggest adventure! The rafting was amazing, challenging and relaxing (the floating in the River). The first night on the camp site on the river was like a dream site. The guides were all week with us and they cooked, accompanied the hikes, cared for hurt feet and expressed their love for Jalapão in the way they talk about nature in Jalapao. You could really feel how they work with love and care for us the group and the surroundings. The nature in Jalapao is amazing, we were swimming in waterfalls and fervedouro’s (clean water springs) and hiked in beautiful landscapes. There are not many foreigners travelling in this area, it felt like a special place. I would very much recommand this trip! Would do it again 😉 We also had a great group and had a lot of fun together. Thanks so much to all the guides and of course: Planeta Exo Team!
