Pantanal Ecolodge Tours
Get ready to experience unforgettable adventures and explore the wild nature at this Pantanal Ecolodge Tours located in the South of Pantanal, at Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. An area belonging to the same family for over 150 years, since 1989 it has diversified its activities, continuing to raise cattle, working in the area of ecological tourism and fishing, and supporting projects such as the Arara Azul Project and Organic Livestock.
Located in a rich area formed by the typical vegetation of the Pantanal, mixed with cerrado vegetation, bays (lakes), ebbs, streams, and the Aquidauana River with exuberant riparian forest; allowing the visitor, at any time of the year, in the high or dry season, to know the riches of the Pantanal.
Great environment for bird watchers (more than 300 species already registered), where visitors of Pantanal Ecolodge can enjoy waking up to the song of birds and, if they want, they can even drink milk in the corral – very early, watching the sunrise. In fact, nothing is more beautiful and impressive than seeing the sunrise and sunset in the Pantanal!
The Pantanal of Mato Grosso do Sul is the largest continuous wetland in the world and in Brazilian territory alone, it has 140,000 km2 of floodplain, extending into Paraguay, Bolivia, and Argentina. The formation of the Pantanal began between 2 and 5 million years ago and originated in a large sedimentation basin, today a plain that is isolated and surrounded by several mountain ranges that surround the region, considered a World Heritage Site.
Pantanal quietly harbors the highest concentration of wildlife in South America. It’s part of a National Park and it’s considered a critical region of the world by the World Wildlife Fund, which estimates that 325 species of fish, 159 species of mammals, 656 species of birds, 53 species of amphibians, and 98 species of reptiles live in this hotbed of biodiversity.
With a little over 200 years of economic occupation, its biodiversity and scenic landscape are practically the same as their ancestors knew, a wild and untouched beauty. Open and clean fields, ebbs, swamps, mountain ranges, streams, and bays. In these different spaces, rich flora and exuberant fauna enchant everyone. Anyone who has the honor of discovering this piece of paradise hidden in the center of South America and the pleasure of living, even for a short time, with the fauna, flora, and customs of the Pantanal, will see life with different eyes.
Each year, the Pantanal goes through two seasons that change its landscape, they are flood season, when the summer rains cause floods approximately from December to March and much of the fauna occupies higher areas such as caápons and mountain ranges, it's a good time to go to Pantanal tours on boat trips and find a beautiful landscape on horseback rides through the flooded fields; and the dry season, an excellent time to visit the Pantanal, when the lack of rain dries the fields a lot, making it easier to move between them, in addition, the little water that remains brings together several animals in its vicinity.
At the Pantanal Ecolodge, you will have all the structure to carry out tours and the comfort of good accommodation with a professional team prepared for you to have the best Pantanal tours.

During your Pantanal Ecolodge Tours, you will also enjoy some activities such as:
Night tour operated in 4x4 adapted open vehicles, to search for animals with crepuscular and nocturnal behaviors, using a powerful long-range torch. The Pantanal night sky is one of the highlights of this tour, offering a breathtaking sight of the southern sky, favored by the complete absence of artificial lights.
Have fun catching the most famous fish species in Pantanal, the Piranha Fish, in freshwater lakes. The Piranha fish is used in a traditional Pantanal dish, the famous Piranha Broth. The piranhas can also be fed to the caimans that lie in wait close to the boats.
One of the best ways to see the beauty of the Pantanal, riding through open fields, marshes and forests. This tour offers a unique chance to observe the beauties of Pantanal’s local fauna and flora. Well-mannered horses with comfortable saddles make this activity suitable even for those not used to riding horses. The duration of this activity depends on the chosen itinerary, offering short or long circuits, always accompanied by experienced local guides and cowboys.
This tour is operated in 4x4 adapted open vehicles allowing visitors to reach further places of the property, driving through many different landscapes. This tour provides a wide view of the surrounding areas, increasing the chances to observe more species.
Hike through the gallery forest, with close interaction with nature, stopping once in a while to observe elusive species that are often hidden under their natural camouflage, and many plants and tree species.

The inn is beautiful, inside a farm and we feel integrated into the place. There are several animals around: macaws, horses, countless birds, and, at dinner, we still have the company of tame armadillos. The guides are great and very experienced, the walks are beautiful and we have the opportunity to see the various animals of the Pantanal, in addition to the incredible view of its vastness. The food is delicious, and the owners of the farm, João and Vânia, are very friendly. People rest in the rhythm of the place while being enchanted by the natural beauties. Rich experience for all ages!
Here just to thank you for every amazing and beautiful experience we had with you! Thank you, for the love and attention to the smallest details. Nature completes the love you reflect in everything! Our guides were also wonderful, with all the simplicity in the world! Perfect dulce de leche, every meal, walks, and care for nature and animals were beautiful!!!
Like grandma's house
Flawless! From the reception service, the lively conversations during meals, and the guides who know all that paradise very well. The food was just like grandma’s house… It was our wedding anniversary and they did everything to make it unforgettable. Live music at dinner and a special table for breakfast. Everyone always has a smile for you. Hammock to rest under the tree and the sound of birds as an alarm clock. The food is a special case, from my grandmother’s house, well seasoned, warm. 20 stars service! Not to mention the dulce de leche with cream cheese for dessert. Despite the complaints about the “mosquitoes”… you have to remember that you are in the Pantanal!!!! Nothing that long pants, a shirt, and boots can’t fix. Drinking coffee accompanied by toucans is priceless. Congratulations 100% to everyone!
Nature and cozy environment
We were very well received by all the staff, the meals are very tasty and the juices wonderful. In addition, there are two tours a day, super pleasant and without a rush. The environment is super familiar, we have lunch and dinner together with the owners of the inn who are super friendly. If you want to be in contact with nature and have a welcoming service, this is the experience.
One of the best experiences in nature travel
Note 10. Incredible service. Wonderful walks. I recommend traveling with family and friends. The experience offers fantastic tours to spot birds, alligators, deer, jaguars (if you’re lucky), and a huge diversity of wild animals, in addition to horseback riding and kayaking, which are sensational.
