Itinerary

The itinerary can change due to climate conditions or any factor that the host judges dangerous to the integrity of the group

Day1

Starting out along the historic Garimpo Road, we cross through several rivers and many sandy stretches until reaching the Roncador Waterfall. An Oasis in the middle of the Bahian sertão.

From there we continue to the Sugar Cane Hut, to rest and regroup. Then, the best ice cream in Chapada Diamantina is waiting for us Andaraí. Crossing the town to the stone road climb - 7 km up and 550 meters down - taking us to Xique-Xique de Igatú village - local of our first overnight and dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast, the day get-go is down the stone trail, through the diamond mining ruins of the ancient Xique Xique - the short single-track requires a lot of technique due to its slippery ground. The support car waits at the end of the trail and takes us to Mucambo, from where the second stage begins - path to Poço Azul.

@ludicas

We stopped to float in its clear blue waters, lunch at the same place and return by car in the late afternoon.

Dinner and overnight in Mucugê.

Day 3

After breakfast, the city tour - getting to know more about its characters, history, culture and colonial architecture.

We keep on towards Guiné. The 40km track is surrounded by mesmerizing landscapes, like the view of Serra do Desbarrancado and Serra do Sincorá. The track has no shadows and no rivers, requiring strength and endurance, but nature's rewards turn the ride into an enjoyable adventure. We chill out when arriving at the next village.

Day 4

After breakfast, the rocky track. We will continue riding along sandy terrains - reaching the highest point, we go downhill in 11 km of intense descents of pure adrenaline!

@carluttii

Stop at the Palmeiras/Capão intersection to regroup, snack and rest in the Rio Grande community. The ultimate destination is the Cachoeira do Riachinho - the perfect spot for a relaxing swim. Late that day, we dinner and hang out to the sounds of good live music in Vale do Capão, also the place of our overnight stay.

Day 5

The start out is a challenging narrow single track, requiring technique from the participant. Nice views and a swim stop are part of the experience. We just stop at the must-go Pai Inácio's restaurant where the support car will be. After resting, a visit to Pai Inácio Hill,  a 15-minute walk at a medium effort level to the top.

On the way back, we may choose between two options in order to reach the town of Lencois: By car to its Historic region. By bike, in the technical bumpy trail of Barro Branco, which requires advanced skills along 14 km - a mixed terrain, done in about 2 hours.

The journey ends with a farewell dinner in the town centre.
